Fleet Strategy Workshop

2-Day Event | Vancouver, WA

About the event

Your equipment is either making you money or costing you money—there’s no in-between. Yet most contractors treat their fleet like a necessary evil instead of the profit center it should be.

Over two days in Vancouver, we’re bringing together 20-30 sharp civil contractors who are ready to stop guessing and start knowing exactly what their equipment costs, what to bid, and how to squeeze every dollar of value from every machine.

This isn’t a conference. It’s not a seminar. It’s a working session where you’ll roll up your sleeves alongside industry expert Michael Kelley and other contractors who get it. You’ll walk in with equipment headaches and walk out with bulletproof systems.

What you’ll leave with:

  • Equipment cost tracking that actually works in the real world
  • Bidding strategies that protect your margins instead of killing them
  • Utilization systems that turn idle time into revenue
  • Fleet optimization plans tailored to your specific operation

We’re keeping this small and focused because generic advice doesn’t work in construction. You need solutions that fit your jobs, your region, and your reality.

Come with your toughest equipment questions. Leave with clarity, systems, and a network of contractors who’ve been exactly where you are.

Meet the hosts

Benjamin Holmgren is the founder at Kestaa and host of Ground Crew events. Growing and running an excavation business is a lonely road. I help connect owners of dirt companies that don’t compete with each other so they can learn and get better together.

Michael Kelley is the president of SilverTrek Systems and has spent the past decade helping companies understand and effectively manage their equipment fleets. From buying to selling to RPOing, Michael teaches leaders how to see equipment as a profit center.
